Earl D. Kirk, age 86, entered eternal rest on June 14, 2017.

He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War; Master Mason FAM, member of Lodge #218; Scottish Rite 32nd degree, and GE retiree.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Pearl, sisters, Jane Woods and Cornelia Sanders Cowen and brother James Arron Kirk.

Earl is survived by his wife, Nancy; daughter Leanne McClusky (Roy); granddaughter, Adrienne; sisters, Patsy McCartney and Lou Greene (Tom), and nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services are Monday, June 19, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Visitation is Sunday, from 3-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment is private.

Earl was selected to be a part of the Honor Flight from Louisville to Washington DC. He was so honored by the privilege that his family has requested memorial gifts to Honor Flight Bluegrass, PO Box 991364, Louisville, KY 40269-1364, so other veterans may participate.
