Gladys Cline Pinkston, 89, passed away May 18, 2017 while at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.

Gladys was born on April 29, 1928 to the late Bennie and May Dunn Ewing in Martinsville, Indiana. She was an avid bowler, and square dancer. Gladys was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, where she was once very active, singing in the choir.

Along with her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Everett E. Cline; her recent husband, Glen Pinkston; and her siblings, Joe Ewing and Martha Cavins.

Here to carry on her beautiful memory are her daughters, Sandra Ritcey (Allan), Judy LaVallie and Tina Lichtefeld (Gene); grandchildren, Jym Coke, Debbie Forester (Michael), Denise and Darryl LaVallie, Andrew Parchinski, and Alyssa Hillard (Nick). Gladys is also survived by her great- grandson, Mark Peacock.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8pm, Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. The funeral ceremony will take place at 10am Monday at the funeral home, with burial to take place at New Albany National Cemetery at 12:30pm.
