Richard "Rich" Wagner, 82 of LaGrange, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017. He worked in the food industry for Volume Services and retired after 26 years of service. He is known for many things including the fact that he never met a stranger. He would always be the one to make you laugh, a jokester. He was a U of L fan, Chicago Cubs fan, loved to watch birds, loved his dogs, Wrigley, Rupert and Cujo; but most importantly, he loved his family! He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle....

Richard "Rich" Wagner, 82 of LaGrange, passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017. He worked in the food industry for Volume Services and retired after 26 years of service. He is known for many things including the fact that he never met a stranger. He would always be the one to make you laugh, a jokester. He was a U of L fan, Chicago Cubs fan, loved to watch birds, loved his dogs, Wrigley, Rupert and Cujo; but most importantly, he loved his family! He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Rich is preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Judy and son, Christopher Wagner.
He is survived by his children, Carrie Wagner, Carla Wagner, Michael Hafling (Becki), Jeffrey Hafling (Tammy), Dana Brothers (Gregg), and Kelley Hafling; nineteen grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Delilah Filip (Ron) and nephews, Deron Filip (Cindy) and Dean Filip.
A celebration of life is scheduled for Monday, August 14, 2017 at 10am at Arch L Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2017 from 3-8pm.
